CEDITECH Information Session: A Strong Commitment to the Future of Employability in Africa
On Friday 13 September 2024, the Centre d'Excellence Digital et Technologies (CEDITECH) held an information session at its premises, marking an important milestone in its ambition to transform employability in Côte d'Ivoire and Africa. The aim of the event was to present the objectives, values and vision of CEDITECH, a key player in training for tomorrow's digital and technological professions.
CEDITECH: A Driver of Change in Education and Employment
At this session, Mody-Oury Barry, President of CEDITECH, passionately shared his centre's aspirations to bridge the gap between education and the needs of the labour market. Indeed, Africa is facing an imbalance between the training of young people and the skills required by businesses, which is holding back professional integration.
‘Our aim is to remedy the current situation where the job market is unfavourable to young people, who represent our future, while at the same time enabling managers to develop their skills in emerging professions.
CEDITECH's mission is clear: to prepare a skilled workforce capable of meeting today's digital challenges and seizing opportunities for innovation. By adapting to the needs of the market, the centre aims to offer a sustainable solution to young people and professionals wishing to develop their skills in areas such as Cloud Computing, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and much more.

The event brought together many prestigious players, reinforcing the scope of CEDITECH's mission. Participants included renowned institutions such as :

- Le Club des DSI de Côte d’Ivoire
- Aguima

- Representatives from the Université Polytechnique de Bingerville and the Université Virtuelle de Côte d'Ivoire.
These entities, all committed to developing employability, have lent their support to the CEDITECH initiative. Their presence testifies to the growing importance of partnerships in meeting the demands of the labour market, particularly in the technology sector.
